Hi there, after installing a fresh copy of the operating system (debian squeeze x86_64 on a multi-cpu server) from my provider I installed virtualmin gpl with the install.sh script.
There is no error message during install. After installation I point to my adress and answer the last questions. After that I have to reload the virtualmin configuration. But this is saying:
"The Postfix server does not appear to be installed on your system, or has not yet been set up properly in Webmin's Postfix Configuration module. If you are running a different mail server, select it on the module configuration page."
Postfix IS installed (It was installed by the virtualmin script I think). When I go to the postfix configuration it say's: "Error while checking current Postfix configuration. Please manually fix Postfix configuration.
postsuper: fatal: scan_dir_push: open directory hold: Permission denied"
The folder is present and the config files are within /etc/postfix. Just to find the issue I chmod'ded to 777 -R /etc/postfix but still it say's permission denied.
I've installed another webserver yesterday going the same way and all went fine. The only differences are the filesystem and partitioning scheme, and maybe the one or another reboot after install (but I rebootet after kernel update BOTH systems). No meaning where the problem is.
Any help would be very nice. I can also paste needed logfiles.
With best regards
