Hi,
Is it safe to disable "sasld" when not using the server email?
Or is there other programs that rely on this daemon, if so what are they?

Hi Peter,
On a default setup, saslauthd is only used in order to allow users to authenticate while sending email via Postfix.
If you don't need that feature, you should be able to disable that service.

Thanks Eric!
