Backup any file or directory on the server

I know there are two kinds of backups: (1) Webmin > Webmin > Backup Configuration Files and (2) Virtualmin > Backup and Restore, however none of them allows to backup any file or directory on the server. For example, we keep Apache Solr index files out of virtual servers home directories, so need to backup them separately. We currently do it by creating cron jobs for backups, but it would be awesome if Webmin/Virtualmin allowed us to use its interface to backup any file or directory in the system.

If you want to backup arbitrary directories, you can use the Fikesystem Backup module under the System category. It generally uses tar format, and supports scheduled backups.
