I installed Nagios, as per their instructions and it has installed into the Virtualmin home directory, along with my virtual servers.
How can I gain access to Nagios?

I'm not sure if we can answer that ... Virtualmin and Webmin don't currently support Nagios at all.

I understand that Virtualmin/Webmin doesn't support Nagios but could you comment on whether or not Nagios will interfere with Virtualmin/Webmin if it was set up to run independently?

While we're not Nagios experts, to our knowledge, Nagios should not interfere with Webmin/Virtualmin.
Also note that Webmin does support monitoring of it's own... that's available in Webmin -> Others -> System and Server Status.
