Hi Guys!
I no longer get any SMART Drive Status information. I know for shure that this has worked before! But now when I open the "SMART Drive Status" page in Webmin i only get "No IDE or SCSI drives were found on your system."
If I run "smartctl --all --device=3ware,0 /dev/twa0" it returns all info.
The box is running: CentOS 5.6 (Linux 2.6.18-238.5.1.el5 on x86_64), Webmin 1.540 Virtualmin 3.84 Pro And the raid controller is a 3ware Inc 9650SE (Model: 9650SE-2LP DISK)
Best regards, Leif

There have been some changes to the SMART module's support of 3ware recently that might be causing problems ..
What do the following commands output on your system :
tw_cli show
tw_cli info c0

Hi Jamie,
I Guess I should run them in command-line...
Both give: command not found

Looks like I don't have the appropriate software installed… Here are some info:
kernel: 3w-9xxx: scsi0: Firmware FE9X 4.08.00.006, BIOS BE9X 4.08.00.001, Ports: 2.
kernel: Vendor: AMCC Model: 9650SE-2LP DISK Rev: 4.08
I don’t know how to check if the software is installed, and if not, how to install it!

You need to download that tw_cli command .. I haven't personally used 3ware RAID much, so I'm not sure where it comes from.. But have a look at http://www.3ware.com/

I tried to find some info at www.lsi.com (www.3ware.com) but i can't find out what and how to install it.
What has changed in Webmin? Because the SMART Drive Status was working before, and I have not removed or changed anything on the server - Other than doing the updates recommended on the "System Information" page in Virtualmin.
Could you assist me and tell me what and how to install it?
I'm not that familiar with Linux and would appreciate your help.
Best Regards, Leif

If you are running CentOS 5, you can install the RPM for tw_cli with :
rpm -U http://mirror.remotelan.net/atrpms/el5-i386/atrpms/stable/tw_cli-2.00.03.013-6.i386.rpm

Thanks Jamie,
Now the SMART Drive Status is back again! I used the x86_64.rpm instead, the box is running a 64-bit OS.
This issue can now be marked "solved"!
Thanks again!
Best regards, Leif
