Any opinion on which firewall module or security hardening options would be best to use with Virtualmin?

Another related question. Anyone have experience with dotDefender? We host a lot of PHP/MySQL apps and it looks like a good package to layer on top of base server security.

For securing a system, the very best thing you can do is keep all your packages and scripts up to date - both of which can be done in Virtualmin.
Packages can be updated when prompted on the System Information page. You can get notifications of new script versions at System Settings -> Script Installers -> Upgrade Notification.
Also, setting up a firewall at Webmin -> Networking -> Linux Firewall is a good idea too.
