Unable to edit root password

I'm unable to change my root password. I selected -> Webmin -> System -> Change Passwords -> Root -> The rest speaks for itself I think.

I've tried it several times, but without succes. What am I doing wrong?

Well, if you're telling it to change the root password, and it doesn't, that may be a bug;

But just to be sure -- are you seeing any errors when attempting that?

Also, is your setup unusual at all -- perhaps with LDAP or so?

And lastly, does anything show up in the Webmin log, in /var/webmin/miniserv.error?

Okay, then it sounds like something's not working right ;-)

I'd recommend filing a bug report, and Jamie can look into what's causing the trouble there. -Eric
