Hi,
I'm trying to configure virtualmin but I get stuck here and cannot work out how to fix this
The Suexec command on your system is configured to only run scripts under /opt/csw/apache2/share/htdocs, but the Virtualmin base directory is /home. CGI and PHP scripts run as domain owners will not be executed.

A few questions --
What operating system/distro is it that you're using?
Are you using the GPL or Pro version of Virtualmin?
How did you install Virtualmin? Did you use that install.sh?
Thanks, -Eric
Hi,
I installed webmin and then used the module to install the GPL version on Centos 5.3

Hmm -- so, is this essentially a new server, or do you already have some live things running on it?
It can be significantly simpler to use the install.sh installer script to do the full installation for you, as it configures all sorts of things as part of the installation.
So before we started configuring things manually for you -- I just wanted to make sure that performing an install with the install.sh (which will likely disrupt anything live you have setup) wasn't an option. -Eric
Hi,
I started over again for a minimal install of Centos 5.2 and then used the install.sh script as you suggested and this worked. Thanks
Just trying to work out how everything works.
