creating a subdomain

I realize there are probably multiple topics regarding this -- however I want to know the easiest way through virtualmin/webmin to create subdomains.

I already know how to do this via editing the apache / bind configs. This is for a client with no technical expertise and I would like to know if this is possible to do it through the gui interface.

Any help is appreciated!

Well, a domain and sub-domain really aren't any different. From Virtualmin's standpoint.

One just has an extra "." in it :-)

So, I'd just have them create a Virtual Server (or a Virtual Sub-Server, it doesn't matter) -- and when asked for the domain name, they'd enter the sub-domain -- sub.example.com -- rather than the root domain, example.com. -Eric
