printer install issue

Hi, I am trying to install my networked printer, and after inputing all of the information and clicking create I get the following error:

Failed to save printer : Missing file to open at WebminCore::../web-lib-funcs.pl line 2674

this is on ubuntu 8.04 server tls with a brother MFC420CN printer using cups

any idea how I can resolve this?

I have no idea. But, I'll ask Jamie to chime in on this, as it's not a very useful error, which is bug-like.

That does look like a bug .. but I don't see it on my system.

What remote print destination type did you select?

I entered the ip address of the printer LPD://192.168.1.254 port 9100

no I was trying to use the direct ip function as the printer has a built in network interface, should I be using the remote unix option instead?

The direct IP function should work fine. Just be sure to enter the IP address 192.168.1.254, without the lpd:// at the start

i reinstall my printer and i try automatic driver update and it help some times but some times it didn't and i don't know what the conditions are to work.
