I've just added a nomination:
Webmin is the common vanishing point of the solutions for hosting providers and webmasters. Maurizio1230, Webmin & Virtualmin's lover.Let's Nominate webmin for the award that it has been earning for many years. Good luck, I love you :)

Post edited by: Maurizio1230, at: 2009/05/13 09:59
Webmin loves you, too, Maurizio! Thanks for the nod.

you got my vote, obviously.
Sweet! I'll be bugging you again in a few weeks when the actual voting starts. Webmin has to get into the nominations first, which narrows it down to the top ten in every category, and then folks vote amongst those top ten.
Webmin is pretty regularly nominated...but it's been a few years since it's won (phpMyAdmin has won the last three years). I think this will be Webmin's. The two have similar download counts, and similarly active communities. But, as a community, outreach and marketing has never been the focus of Webmin. So, maybe if we give those aspects a little push this time, it'll push us over the top.

did you place an article on Digg/stumbleupon and the likes recently?
StumbleUpon is a good one. Digg would be a bit spammy, I think. I don't want to tick anybody off...they might nominate or vote for something else out of spite. ;-)
