Setting Up a Sensible Backup Routine.

Hi,

Thanks to all the help for the tech guys here, I'm now able to backup to my Amazon S3 bucket.

I have set up a daily schedule so that the update is done on a daily basis.

My only problem is that the same bucket is getting over-written everytime.

What I would really like to do is to set up 7 buckets and have the backup done to a different bucket each day and then on day eight it would over-write the first one.

So : Day 1 --> directory/bucket 1 Day 2 --> directory/bucket 2 Day 3 --> directory/bucket 3 Day 4 --> directory/bucket 4 Day 5 --> directory/bucket 5 Day 6 --> directory/bucket 6 Day 7 --> directory/bucket 7

Day 8 --> directory/bucket 1 Day 9 --> directory/bucket 2 Day 10 --> directory/bucket 3 Day 11 --> directory/bucket 4 Day 12 --> directory/bucket 5 Day 13 --> directory/bucket 6 Day 14 --> directory/bucket 7

Day 15 --> directory/bucket 1 Day 16 --> directory/bucket 2 etc. etc.

Is there anyway to set this up with the scheduled backup module in VirtualMin ?

If not, how can I set it up ? Thanks

if that is the way you want it, you probably need to set up the back up 7 times and change the settings under Schedule and reporting for each process
