Lately when I try to upgrade a Joomla (1.5.8 to 1.5.9) script, I get this error message:
Upgrading Joomla to version 1.5.9 ..
Configuring Apache PHP settings ..
.. already done.
Found http://joomlacode.org:80/gf/download/frsrelease/9294/34965/Joomla_1.5.9-Stable-Full_Package.tar.gz in cache ..
Failed to extract source :
cp: cannot stat `/tmp/.webmin/611658_1_mass_upgrade.cgi/*': No such file or directory
.. failed! See the error message above for the reason why.
I can install a new Joomla without issues, this is just on upgrades. Don't know about other scripts at this point.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Brian
Hi Brian,
There may be something corrupt with your cache file there.
Try going into Webmin -> Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> Proxy Servers and Downloads, and hit "Clear Cache" -- then try running the upgrade again.

Eric's almost certainly right. But if that doesn't fix it, file a ticket in the tracker and Jamie will be able to troubleshoot it.
