Getting a lot of these: Failed to open /dev/pts/X
where X is an incremental number everytime I do something the generates this error.
First I tried using install script to install Typo - it won't let me and gave me that error.
Next I tried editing postfix's main.cf config file through postfix->config file and I press save and it gave me that error.
Any ideas?
Howdy!
I have absolutely no idea what might cause that :-)
However, if you don't get an answer here shortly, I'd try posting that into the Bugs and Issues tracker (the link is at the bottom of the page).
Jamie is likely to have more insight into what's causing that, and he'll see it in the Tracker.
Have a good one,

sorted... must remember to open up the passive ports and specify a range.
Also, have to use masquerade the address

kind of replying to my own topic, I managed to sort out postfix. It was because the config I put in is invalid. Still not sure about the cryptic error message.
I need some other help though. Having trouble with FTP. I'm not able to ftp into any of the virtual servers. It hangs on after log says:
"227 Entering Passive Mode (xx,xxx,x,xx,xxx,xxx).
LIST -al"
The xxx part seems to be listing EC2 server's internal IP, I'm not sure whether that is the expected behaviour and if not, how I can change that.
