Hello!
I probably need to setup the poppassd daemon to allow users to change their password, as we use mail logins.
Is it possible to use poppassd without breaking virtualmin?

I don't know anything about poppasswd, but it doesn't look like it'll break Virtualmin to use it.
If your users change their passwords outside of Virtualmin, if you later do a restore of a given Virtual Server, it may set the wrong password, since Virtualmin keeps track of what the user passwords are.
To avoid that, you could always direct your users to Usermin, which would allow them to change their password and not cause them to get out of sync with with Virtualmin thinks they are.
