spam broken after update? spamassassin, procmail

  1. See here : http://www.virtualmin.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=77&func=...

  2. service restart spamassassin

  3. check /var/log/maillog
  4. perl -MCPAN -e shell and install any missing deps (was missing all sorts of stuff somehow)
  5. goto 2

Huh? What just happened. I'm all confused now.

I may be wrong, but this sounds like a bad direction to go.

Isn't everything installed from packages? (deb, RPM, whatever) And wouldn't we like to keep it that way?
