HI I am hosting a domain on another host. I am using virtualmin/ec2 to host a subdomain. I need to give my other host the IP address to point my A record for the subdomain but alas I'm not sure what it is. When I click on my server it gives an IP but says shared by all servers. that ip isn't the same as my public dns or my private dns. do i have to create a virtual interface?
I think I figured it out. when I click on Dynamic IP update I see an internal IP and an External IP the External IP is the same as my Public DNS so I'm pretty sure that's what I should give.

Post edited by: allie, at: 2008/08/14 11:09
