Encoding issue (utf-8/ISO)

Greetings,

I just set up a new domain and everything went great. It's a Joomla install and I have done many of these before but this is the first I have done in Virtualmin. When I migrate it from the current server to the new one in Virtualmin and then view the site I get either question marks in diamonds (FF) or squares (IE7) for certain characters such as { or รข

There are two places where encoding matters: Web server, and database server.

I'm guessing it's just the webserver in this case (as I think a database dump includes setting the encoding...but I might be wrong about that). So, you probably just want to remove the AddDefaultCharset option from httpd.conf, which will allow applications to set the charset in the meta tags.
