Actually, it's a way for us to pay $500/year to Google. There are no ads on our Google search results, and we're receiving nothing from Google other than better search results.

This one is my fault. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it, but Joomla is fighting me.

Sure, but they weren't relevant about 90% of the time.

I'm not going to switch the default search link back, but I will fix the titles in the results (one way or another). I'll see about getting longer snippets, as well (I dunno if Google will let me do that, but I'll file an issue with them about it).

I'll also see about getting the old search box added to the &quot;My Profile&quot; or &quot;Help&quot; page. But let's see if we can't get the Google results looking nicer first--if you take the time to click through a few, I think you'll find that the results it brings back are an order of magnitude better than the simple text search provided by the forum software.
