Turn on .procmailrc files for individual users.

The /etc/procmailrc file that the virtualmin pro 3.55 uses ends in: :0 $DEFAULT This prevents any users from activating their own procmailrc files. According to the post: http://www.virtualmin.com/forums/limit/10/limitstart/10/usermin/mail-for... someone could go to Module Config link on the left menu, go to the 'Spam filtering options' section and change 'Allow mailbox users to configure procmail?' back to 'Yes' (the default). This option in NOT THERE in 3.55 virtualmin PRO. Does any one know how to do this thing now and has been changed ?

Go into the webmin side of the frame. Then click on usermin config, then go to available modules and check the procmail settings to make it available to users.

Went there checked procmail mail filter, saved, then re-checked configuration for virtualmin but the /etc/procmailrc is still:

Is it ok ? I am still seeing the last two default lines ....

I actually moved that option a few releases back - it is now at Email Messages -> Spam and Virus Scanning -> Allow mailbox users to configure procmail?. Set it to 'Yes', and the two lines at the end will be taken away.

I've been having a problem that I traced back to this feature. Some of our users already had .procmail filters enabled. We do not use the Spam and Virus Scanning on this server, since it is done externally. However, every time we upgrade (or possibly when some other change is made), the system procmailrc file is altered, and these two lines are added automatically, causing our users' procmailrc files to break.

To make matters more complicated, when the Spam and Virus filters are disabled on the Features and Plugins page, which they were on our system, the Spam and Virus Scanning configuration page does not appear anywhere in the options, so it is impossible to find or change this setting. The workaround I used was to enable the plugins, change the setting, and then disable them afterward, but I'm not sure how long this will stick before they are changed again.
