Good afternoon everyone,
I have been trying to teach myself how to use VM over the last few days. Sometimes I get lucky and things work correctly..other times though....
Anyway, I have been running this server (Main VM server) on my private network with an IP assigned from my dhcp server. This assigned address is 192.168.1.142 on eth0. My test virtual server is set at 192.168.1.155 on eth0:1. This server will be moving to a secure facility shortly and will require a public IP.
What is the proper way to make this change? I have been poking around and seem to have found all the incorrect ways of doing this, so I decided that I need to know the proper way.
