Lets Encrypt not working anymore

I cannot install a ssl certificate via letsencrypt

Requesting a certificate for test123.*****.org, www.test123.*****.org, mail.test123.******.org from Let's Encrypt ..
.. request failed : Web-based validation failed : Failed to request certificate :

Error registering: Account creation on ACMEv1 is disabled. Please upgrade your ACME client to a version that supports ACMEv2 / RFC 8555. See https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/end-of-life-plan-for-acmev1/88430 for details

DNS-based validation failed : Neither DNS zone test123.*******.org or any of its sub-domains exist on this system

And it is giving me conflicting messages of what the problem is. I think I have DNS zones for the fqdn. So how do i upgrade this. I tried updating certbot, but that did not seem to work eithher.

It says that it was planned to stop support for ACMEv1 in November of 2019, so it makes sense that it nobody else has reported this.
