Hi everybody,
My OS: CentOS 7 + Virtualmin 6.07 Pro
I have recently enabled the chroot jail option in my virtual servers and realized that I can't access them using the FTP protocol anymore. The server asks me for the password again and again and I see in the ProFtpd logs the error: USER domain.com (Login failed): Incorrect password
I don't have any problem if I try to login with ssh or connecting with sFTP so I wanted to ask if it is a normal behaviour or if something is misconfigured in my server.
Regards, Roberto
Hi,
Made some tests and discovered that normal users with FTP enabled can still use the service (no login error) so it looks like it only happens with the virtual server admin user. No complains from my customers till now so it's ok.
