VMware, Centos and Virtualmin together

Hi guys I need help here i am new to linux, i got centos 5 and virtualmin installed nicely into my win 2003 host using vmware server, i can log on to virtualmin local, using 127.0.0.1 or the real ip, and even the domain name, but only inside the guest windows. From the outside the internet i get timeout and the dns settings i have resolves to the correct ip. can you guys help me configure the settings, so i can get the server from the net.

Can you ping the real ip of the virtualmin server from your windows 2003? Can you ping the windows 2003 server back from virtualmin? logon to the virtualmin server at the shell prompt can you ping an external address? if you can't ping an external ip address check to make sure you have the right default gateway setup for your virtualmin server.

To help us diagnose this problem it is always good to provide as much information as possible. Is the windows 2003 vmware server behind a firewall is the firewall on the windows 2003 firewall enabled? Did you install centos 5 with firewall enabled? If it is behind a firewall is there a rule which port forwards a connection to your virtualmin server?
