Apache has the following error every week or so and shuts down
[Sun Mar 10 06:25:07.004287 2019] [mpm_event:notice] [pid 1008:tid 140529661601664] AH00493: SIGUSR1 received. Doing graceful restart [Sun Mar 10 06:25:08.822549 2019] [core:notice] [pid 1008] AH00060: seg fault or similar nasty error detected in the parent process
It always happens at the same time, when Cron Daily runs, but not always on the same day. From other posts I see that this problem has been around for years and seems to have something to do with logrotate.
Does anyone know if I can change the schedule for logrotate so that it only does one server at a time, and would that help? I have 15 servers.
And, has anyone used Apache's rotatelogs instead of logrotate, and does that help?
I am using Virtualmin 6.06-2 on Ubuntu Linux 16.04.3. I have not changed settings. The problem has been going on since I installed both at the beginning of the year. Everything is up to date.
Thanks for any suggestions!
