Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Hi all,

something went wrong with my server. Everything works fine until i tra to create new virtual server.

After creating virtual server and after systems apply apache setting a refresh virtualmin non https server stops working and shows : "Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server."

But if i try to acces to the same web page to https it works.

Next interesting thing is if i set disable domain for recently added domain it show "Disabled" message on all http domains on virtualmin server.

Have anyone any idea what is going on?

Thank you Br Dave

Please double check configure website -> edit directives that DocumentRoot points for the right directory. Also check under Webmin -> Servers -> Apache that all non SSL host have set Address to ANY and SSL have IP

Check to see if the webmin service is running. This happened to me after I did some upgrades yesterday. Once I restarted it, it's working.

/etc/init.d/webmin status

Webmin is stopped

/etc/init.d/webmin start

Hello,

Thank you for your answers. As a freelancer you can imagine (or live it) that I have 10,000 tasks to manage. So I have not had time to take into account your answers.

I will test these solutions in a few days and as soon as I have something new, I will follow it here.
