This should work.... It does to a point though.
The shared IP is never used... it just leaves that blank but according to the help doc...
ip-address For virtual servers that do not need their own private IP, this field can be left blank. Otherwise, you must either enter a valid un-used address, or the word allocate to have Virtualmin select one for you (if configured).

It seems the only way to add the IP is using the 'allocate' switch but this isn't ideal for batch creating domains.
This has to be a bug.....
