Two FastCGI packages?

I was looking to convert some virtual hosts to the FastCGI-based PHP implementation, but I'm confused by my package selection on CentOS4. I have two RPMs installed:

mod_fcgid-2.0-1.el4 mod_fastcgi-2.4.2-1.vm

It appears that mod_fcgid was provided by CentOS, and Virtualmin brought along mod_fastcgi. I figured that I could just remove the older mod_fcgid RPM, but it's marked as required by virtualmin-base.

What gives?

Hey Joshua,

Actually, mod_fastcgi is the older one. It turned out to simply not work for the stuff we needed it to do (suexec, in particular). mod_fcgid is all you need.
