enabling sftp

Hi

I would like to use sft.

SSH login is working an also the user can start sftp-server.

When I try to login with my sftp client, I always get "permission denied".

Where could the problem be?

Operating system CentOS Linux 4.4 Webmin version 1.341 Virtualmin version 3.39

OK, It works now. The problem is probably the university firewall. From my home computer everything works fine.
