No images displayed in Wordpress

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, as I'm totally new here and to Virtualmin. I can't find the forum search!!

Anyway, I have no images at all in my newly minted Wordpress VirtualServer. I've tried modifying SiteURLs in wp-config, etc.... just can't get my head around it. Anybody seen this before?

so one of the things I've discovered is that the img src in wordpress source is showing a hash..... instead of the filename. Anyone have any ideas on where this could come from? I did find the search by the way, but....nothing about this:
