dedicated hosting and other questions

Is anybody offering (semi-)managed dedicated hosting on top of Virtualmin Pro yet?

And the million dollar question is anybody offering it on Sun Niagra servers? I am very interested in moving to more energy efficient servers.

I've heard Virtualmin Pro works on OpenSolaris, but there is no mention of it being supported now or down the road. What is Virtualmin's take on OpenSolaris?

Is the demo permanently offline or just every time I go to check it?

I offer semi-managaged dedicated hosting at $120/month and up (celeron 512MB/80GB starter box) Virtualmin license extra. Give me a ring at (703) 626-9333 to discuss your needs.

I am a professional sysadmin and web developer, and use Virtualmin on my personal servers and am very happy with it, my hosting partner is very responsive and flexible.

I have not personally used the Niagras, but I'm sure my partner will set one up for you if asked. I do have Solaris experience on Sparc.

I'll chime in, since I seem to have missed this post when it first came in.

OpenSolaris is very nearly supported. We're adding it as part of a super-secret development project... I expect we'll do a release for OpenSolaris in the next few weeks.

Virtualmin itself already supports Solaris just fine, and Jamie has a Sun box that he tests everything on...but the automated installation isn't running on Solaris yet, and we don't provide Apache packages, among other things, in Solaris packages yet.
