Hello I am worried about Letsencrypt's 90 day expiration constraint for use with Dovecot. More precisely I am worried that my end users will have to deal with certificate changes every 3 months in their devices.
On dovecot, after replacing my existing cert with a letsencrypt one, I had the following experiences:
Thunderbird fired a popup to accept the new cert for both imap&smtp, and it worked. Android GMail app was same as Thunderbird. IPhone7 would no longer give an option to accept a new cert, had to delete the account & recreate.
Considering I have setup Letsencrypt to auto-renew...when it does, will my end users have to start over?
