Fail2Ban Error

Dear All, I am using software as follows.

Webmin 1.8 x fail2ban 0.9.3 ubuntu 16.x

now the problem is when i start fail2ban service in default mode. i get this error message.

Feb 9 14:05:13 Ubuntu-1604-xenial-64-minimal fail2ban-client[6738]: ERROR Failed during configuration: Bad value substitution: option 'backend' in section 'sshd' contains an interpolation key 'sshd_backend' which is not a valid option name. Raw value: '%(sshd_backend)s'

would you guys please help.

Post the content of your f2b conf files or local in case you followed the proper setup of f2b as conf files get overwritten during the updates.
