Is there some documentation on how to upgrade a 5.99 installation to 6.x?
Someone already did it and can share some steps? Is it better to start fresh?

Howdy -- you should be able to update it similar to other packages on your system, and there's no need to start fresh.
It looks like you're using Virtualmin GPL there though, the support area here is for folks using Virtualmin GPL.
If you have additional questions, we'd encourage you to ask those in the Forums. We monitor the Forums, along with lots of wonderful folks in the community. Thanks!

Ah, sorry, there isn't a license associated with this particular virtualmin.com user account. It sounds like it was purchased under a different account.
What license is it you're using there? Would you prefer that be part of your Kintaro account?
As far as upgrading goes, it's no problem to do an upgrade to the latest Virtualmin using apt. You shouldn't run into any problems with that.

andreychek I was just kidding! Read again your message... you wrote two times GPL instead of once GPL and once PRO. ;-)

APT wasn't able to see VM6 because the repository was set to "jessie" instead of "universal". Now I can see it.
