The feature SSL website cannot be disabled?

hello - i am getting a LOT farther along in my configuration check, which is nice. i now run into this message:

The feature SSL website cannot be disabled, as it is used by the following virtual servers:  blah blah

is there a simple setting that i forgot to enable to allow SSL websites?
