Hi,
Seeing very high volumes of files in /root/Maildir/new saying:
Subject: lfd on server: Excessive resource usage: apache (47245 (Parent PID:33410)) Message-Id: 20170508132306.7B76E2A2000@server Date: Mon, 8 May 2017 14:23:06 +0100 (BST)
Time: Mon May 8 14:23:06 2017 +0100 Account: apache Resource: Virtual Memory Size Exceeded: 438 > 200 (MB) Executable: /usr/sbin/httpd Command Line: /usr/sbin/httpd PID: 47245 (Parent PID:33410) Killed: No
Can anyone advise what is causing this/how do I fix?
First check what is your memory consumption and what is your total memory. Then proceed to check Apache settings. It could be your server have low memory, bad script or bots probing your website. Either way you should post little more information.
