not receiving email

I have a wired issue going on that I can't figure out. I can send mail, but I can't receive it. I have checked the logs, and its not even being received. the domain name is eighthfleet.org. I have double checked the mx records both with the domain registrar and with mxtoolbox.com

it says the records are good, but when I run a smtp test I get the following:

Connecting to 50.247.62.200 4/29/2017 12:52:17 AM Connection attempt #1 - Unable to connect after 15 seconds. [15.00 sec]

PWS3v2 15001ms

not sure if there is a firewall issue or not. I should mention this is a fresh install as of today, and everything seems to be working except for mail.

Can you please run netstat -ntlp, check if IMAP / POP ports are listening Check if IMAP and POP ports are opened on firewall Check if dovecot is running properly.

as far as I can tell the firewall is running and ports are open, but how can I check for certain?

I am still having issues, i am not sure where the issue are. Everything is working except for receiving email. I have completely shut off the firewall and tested and nothing. Nothing in the logs. Can anyone give me a hand.
