Bit of an odd one this, I get the following messages reported by logcheck quite frequently
Nov 30 11:34:10 localhost named[]: client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX#25189: update 'MYDOMAIN.net/IN' denied
Nov 30 11:54:59 localhost named[]: client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX#25583: updating zone 'MYDOMAIN.net/IN': update unsuccessful: jim.home.MYDOMAIN.net/A: 'RRset exists (value dependent)' prerequisite not satisfied (NXRRSET)
Where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is my home ip address and jim.home.MYDOMAIN.net is a Windows 2000/Exchange 2003 server in my home office.
This is obviously going to be an exchange or active direcotry issue, not linux but i'm not quite sure what its trying to do, so i don't know where to start looking for a fix.
I also don't think my dns is setup correctly to handle the 'home' sub domain.
Anyone got any advice where to start ?
