Managing node.js proxy config in virtualmin interface

Hi there

I was looking at https://www.virtualmin.com/node/34320 and have started to follow an article to get a custom node.js application running under one of my domains. (http://www.codingtricks.biz/run-nodejs-application-apache/).

It talks about editing the Apache virtual host. I seem to recall a problem a few years ago where I manually edited a virtualhost which was then overwritten by virtualmin at a later date. Can you point me to the correct area of VirtualMin to apply the node.js proxy information to a specific virtualhost? Or do I need to manually edit the files?

Many thanks

Dave

Hi,

The way Virtualmin operates, it doesn't typically overwrite custom settings made. That's actually one of the best features of it.
