Virtualmin tells me my license has expired, but it has been auto-renewed and shows 2018 as the expiration year. I've tried rechecking license, but to no avail.

Howdy -- we've had a problem with our billing system, where in some cases it's issuing new licenses rather than renewing existing ones. I think that may be what happened in your case.
It may just be a matter of applying the new license to your server, which can be done with this command:
virtualmin change-license --serial 5564606 --key rs4is52JX6
Joe is looking into why that happens though in the hopes of preventing that in the future.

Great, the command worked! Thank you!
