How to backup virtualmin & webmin in Rescuemode/LiveCD mode

Hello,

Something happened with the server (Kernel got deleted) and the easiest way to resolve the problem is to reinstall the server. I manage to gain access to the server through liveCD and I managed to backup the home directory and the databases (I compressed the folder /var/lib/mysql).

Now I want to compress the virtualmin files in order to restore them after the fresh install. Can someone put me into the right direction by telling me which paths need to be compressed in order not to lose the settings/users/domains.
