Hello,
I love the way Virutalmin makes backing up MySQL database on a simple schedule easy. However, we now would like to have more fine tuned backups. I would like to keep one snapshot a month indefinitely, but have the last 3 days of nightly snapshots at any given time. Even just having something like the last three nightly and the last 3 first-of-the-month snapshots would be great.
I can't seem to figure out a way to do this through the MySQL module in Virtualmin. Any pointers would be great.
Thank you!
Maybe a solution
Configure 2 shudeled backups:
Virtualmin -> Backup and Restore -> Scheduled Backups --> Add a new backup schedule
1) Virtual servers: select the virtual server to backup
2) Features and settings: select Only those selected below -> select Contents of server's MySQL databases
3)Destination and format: Delete old backups -> for one shedule you chose never and for the other after 3 days
4) Schedule and reporting: configure a simple schedule or complex schedule
I'll try this. Thanks!
