Virtualmin Server Admin "Dashboard"

I'm a new user to Virtualmin, so I don't know if this is what it's meant to be like...

When I log in as a virtual server admin, I get the menu on the left-hand side -- two tabs "Virtualmin" and "Dashboard".

The Virtualmin tab is active and the menu below it offers things like "Administration Options" and "Logs and Reports".

Meanwhile, the main body of the page is on "Virtual Server Details".

So-far, so-good.

Now when I click on "Dashboard", it "becomes active" and shows me "System Information" on the main part of the page, but the menu on the left hasn't changed at all.

I was expecting a different set of options under "Dashboard". When I click on any of the menu items, it switches back to the "Virtualmin" tab.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any place that a server admin (not webmin admin) can see or edit their databases. Am I missing something here?

(edit: This is on CentOS 7, very latest version of Virtualmin GPL.)
