Is it normal for dkim-milter to use 2GB of memory on a 6GB RAM VPS? It's causing issues with ensuring enough memory is available for http and php sessions / processes.
ID Owner Size Command
29748 mysql 2.35 GB /usr/libexec/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --plugin-dir=/usr/li ...
23512 dkim-milter 2.02 GB /usr/sbin/dkim-filter -x /etc/mail/dkim-milter/dkim-filter.conf -P /var/run/dkim ...
Was there any ideas on this? We see ours hitting 4GB during load and that seems high.
Dkim-milter was replaced with OpenDKIM before several years and i dont know how did you end using it. With such old software no wonder you have some problems. You should replace dkim-milter with OpenDKIM and if your OS doesnt support OpenDKIM that means you should change that too.
