Secondary backup location issue

Hi, when backup is saved to two locations this is what I find happening: on first location all files are backed up:

  • mydomain.com.tar.gz
  • virtualmin.tar.gz
  • mydomain.com.tar.gz.dom
  • mydomain.com.tar.gz.info
  • virtualmin.tar.gz.info

but on secondary location (even if it's just a local folder) I only have:

  • mydomain.com.tar.gz
  • virtualmin.tar.gz

What's up with that? Any ideas?

Howdy,

Those .info and .dom files are just metadata. They aren't actually needed for the restore (though they can speed up the restore process).

I'm not quite sure why they weren't generated in the one case, though it's possible Virtualmin didn't feel it needed them.
