do I need BIND DNS service if I host multiple websites using shared IP address and external DNS service?

Hi,

I want to host several websites using shared IP with my main server IP.
my main server host name is mainserver.com my website domain is onewebsite.com

I use free DNS service from rage4.com. I read on this forum that if i use external DNS then i don't need BIND, hence i disabled it. However, after disable it, when i create a new virtualmin server for onewebsite.com and I go to rage4.com to add DNS record A to my main IP then if i visit that website domain, i get the default webpage mainserver.com (the one i have after install virtualmin) not the webpage i upload to onewebsite.com

Should i enable BIND DNS or did i do something wrong?

Ok. as soon as i turn on BIND service again, it is working ok now. So, even if we use outside dns service, we still need BIND DNS on for local route
