SMTP problems and unable to view maillog

Operating system CentOS Linux 5.11 Webmin version 1.791 Theme version Authentic Theme 17.72 Operating system CentOS Linux 5.11 Perl version 5.008008 Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl BIND version 9.3.6 Postfix version 2.3.3 Mail injection command /usr/lib/sendmail -t Apache version 2.2.3 PHP versions 5.2.17 Webalizer version 2.01-10 Logrotate version 3.7.4 MySQL version 5.0.95 ProFTPD version 1.30

Updated recently and now having many complaints from users about sending mail, delays, rejects, etc. Tried to view the maillog, but it does not display anything in the log window. The spinner just keeps spinning and the log page does not load.

Any suggestions?

Howdy,

Hmm, you may want to try logging in as root over SSH and viewing the mail log that way for the time being. When doing that, do you see any error, warnings, or problems?

The mail log on CentOS 5 is located in /var/log/maillog.
