Hi,
I do a nightly backup to Amazon S3 for my virtualservers with Virtualmin / webmin insatlled.
However, last couple of days I receive this error (not every night, but regularly):
Backup failed! See the progress output above for the reason why. Total backup time was 16 minutes, 40 seconds. Sent by Virtualmin at: no element found at line 2, column 86605, byte 86644 at /usr/lib/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187.
How can I fix this and does this mean my whole backup has been aborted?

My suggestion would be to install Amazon's CLI tool to see if that helps. You can find that here:
https://aws.amazon.com/cli/
If that's installed, Virtualmin will use that for performing the backups.
