on CentOS
Failed to install module from : File does not exist
I get this no matter if I choose to install
I am trying to install WUFTPD or PROFTPD
I am inclined to use WUFTPD because of the Guest Access feature but maybe I can limit an FTP user to access only his directory (excluding him from system dirs.
wuftpd INSTALLS FROM LOCAL FILE (ON MY PC) but then it doesn't show under Servers in the webmin menu..
THanks!
Howdy,
There's been some module repository issues lately, due to a problem with sourceforge (where it's normally hosted). Jamie has been in the process of migrating that to another server. I suspect the issue here is that the migration isn't complete yet... try it again after a day or so and see if it works better then. In the meantime, you may just need to do it manually.
As far as why it doesn't show up in the modules list once you install it -- take a look in the Un-Used Modules list, do you see it there? That may just mean that the FTP software needs to be configured first.
