just did a backup and can't restore

I'm using virtualmin GPL 4.17. In order to delete a server I did a backup of all servers then checked what would be restored, thinking that if I had a good current backup I could restore as necessary. The message I got is, "Restore failed : The specified source is not a Virtualmin backup : Server bvairpi.ca appears twice in backup directory"

I find this disturbing. I've been using the backup facility thinking that somewhere down the road I'd be able to do a restore if needed. Is this a known issue?

Any ideas on this much appreciated.

Dave

Hi,

Drop me a line on Skype tomorrow and I'll take a peak at your backup format, there's likely an issue with the backup, however that doesn't mean all hope is lost. Sometimes, even if the automated restore feature won't work, a backup can still be restored manually.

Look forward to getting you back up and running :-)

Where are you backing to midol? I have found in the past that downloading to local PC can be a problem.

I use myself ssh servers and ftp servers and have never had a problem. Infact the backup feature is one of the major plus factors for me, it's vital as is support.
